Quick Start

As soon as your RunBarr is installed, fret your high E string at 12th fret. Using upstrokes and downstrokes – pick as fast as you can,. Most players should encounter a higher percentage of successful string strikes.

No Drilling. No Holes. You just attach the RunBarr to the surface of your guitar, under the strings, and off you go.

Suddenly shearing off a line of 32nd notes cleanly can teach you a lot, right there. For instance, your fretting hand naturally wants to synchronize with the picking hand. Pay attention to this! Studies show your brain wants to lock into a ‘flow”, try to feel the flow. Liberating the picking hand is an efficient way to develop fretting hand speed.

What it is

The RunBarr can help smooth out strumming sounds, acting as a natural limiter without electronics artifacts. Waveform tests show the first string you strike in the strum has a tendency to come out too loud. There can be an undesirable spike -– (a kind of ’wank”) showing up in the wave-form. This negative artifact is reduced when a RunBarr is used.
